Amerlock® 400 is a high-solids high-build epoxy protective coating formulated to solve complex corrosion problems with minimal surface preparation. It is used in those areas where blasting is impractical or impossible. As a maintenance coating, all-in-one primer, or topcoat, Amerlock® 400 protects steel structures in industrial facilities, bridges, tank exteriors, marine weathering, offshore, oil tanks, piping, roofs, water towers and other exposures. Amerlock® 400 has good chemical resistance to splash/spillage, fumes and immersion in neutral, fresh and salt water. Amerlock® 400 VOC is the lower VOC formulation, compliant with SCAQQMD rule 1113.
